 AS I LAY DYING have been confirmed for the Swiss edition of the Sonisphere festival, set to take place on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Degenaupark in Wil/Jonschwil, Switzerland. AS I LAY DYING will be playing at Sonisphere besides label mates AMON AMARTH and the big four of Thrash Metal METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX! AS I LAY DYING will release their upcoming, 5th full-length album (4th for Metal Blade) The Powerless Rise in spring this year. The band is currently finishing up recording of The Powerless Rise in San Diego with producer Adam D. (Killswitch Engage).
More information on the tour and the street date for The Powerless Rise will be made available in the coming months.

After just completing the recording of their anticipated follow-up for the acclaimed and really successful album “Iconoclast (Part One: The Final Resistance)” HEAVEN SHALL BURN were just confirmed for the renowned German festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park (June 4.-6., 2010).

Baltimore, MD’s MISERY INDEX has extended their February / March tour to cover the south-eastern United States. Joining MISERY INDEX on this leg will be Florida’s GIGAN. A listing of tour dates and cities can be found here.
MISERY INDEX has also announced their first ever Malaysian and Taiwanese live dates. These shows will follow their Australian and New Zealand tour with DECAPITATED. An updated listing of MISERY INDEX tour dates can be found here with more to be announced soon.
MISERY INDEX recently recorded their follow-up album to 2008’s Traitors. The new record, Heirs To Thievery, was recorded at Wright Way Studios with engineer Steve Wright. Heirs To Thievery is set for a May 11th North American release date, May 17th internationally.
